Dan Korneff is a producer, mixer, engineer who has an extensive discography including some of the biggest names in new rock (Pierce the Veil, Paramore, Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin, Sleeping With Sirens, My Chemical Romance). He works out of his studio, Sonic Debris Recording, in Long Island, NY. The studio is a full service, multi-room facility featuring a Solid State Logic 8048G console and a ton of outboard gear.

Dan is considered “an engineer’s engineer,” but he’s also a drummer. This mix of those two skillsets can be heard in his beautifully recorded drum sounds, which are a benchmark for contemporary rock. It’s all about careful tuning, precise mic placement, and expert processing. Dan also designs his own interfaces for his drum sample sets with the same attention to detail and sound quality.
